Our Easter Camps for Kids and Teens run in two shifts: Bambini and Kids groups start at 9:15 am and go until 1:15 pm, and the Teens groups go from 1:30 pm until 5:30 pm. And we make sure that only the target language is spoken – English, German, Spanish, French or Italian – so that the kids learn it without even noticing it. Our instructors are all native speakers of the language they teach and – depending on the age group – they will incorporate songs, crafts, and makings zines or mini language video clips into the program. A lunch or an afternoon snack together is also “on the menu.” In addition to the regular program, our instructors cover with the kids the Easter celebration as it takes place in other countries. Why do we in Germany go Easter egg hunting, but in Spain, they do not? All sorts of interesting stories! And the last day of Camp is highlighted by an excursion. Weather permitting, we may go to the nearby wild animal preserve where the kids will learn the names for animals like deer and wild boar, words associated with forests and hikes, etc. Or we may do a language rally with the older ones, while the younger kids may go to Bobbolino or Airhop.
We offer Language Camps within our Holiday Program during Easter-, Pentecost-, Summer- and Fall school holidays in English, German as a Second / Foreign Language, Spanish and French. Our Language School remains closed during the Winter Holidays. Our regular language classes and Saturday workshops do not meet during the time of Holiday Language Camps.
