Teenager classes focus – in addition to the common teaching elements (cf. Kids) – on training speaking abilities and articulation as well as on vocabulary extension and expansion. As our native-speaking instructors employ active listening, the teens enjoy ample space and opportunities to speak, thus constantly improving their articulation and style. Our instructors eagerly engage methodologies such as role plays, discussion circles, mini-presentations, movie-, book- and character reviews, trivia quizzes as well as interviews.
Course Materials: may include worksheets, audio materials and music, short theatrical pieces, song lyrics, linguistic games, learning charts, short videos, books and dictionaries, written games, role plays as well as computer-equipped media-room and materials for independent projects
Learning Objective: the main objective is to provide the youths with the space and opportunity to speak freely and to stimulate discussion around daily situations in the form of a free dialogue. The point of departure for these conversation activities lies within the teenagers’ world and their interests. Learning contents emerge as a result of the link created between the language and the person, which leads to the automatic improvement of communication abilities. In addition, the youths shake off speaking inhibitions, and the process of learning the new language becomes easy and joyous.
